Shopping Mall Rules of Conduct

Dear Visitors,

 

To ensure the smooth operation and safety of the Shopping Mall and its visitors, the following rules are in effect:

All Shopping Mall users – shop owners, employees, suppliers, customers, visitors, etc. – are subject to the rules of conduct set out herein upon entering the Shopping Mall.

1. The Shopping Mall must always be kept clean and tidy. All Shopping Mall users are obliged to dispose their litter before leaving the Shopping Mall areas, depositing it in the designated litter bins located at various points within the premises.

2. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all indoor areas of the Shopping Mall.

3. All Shopping Mall users must refrain from the consumption and/or distribution of narcotics and/or any substances prohibited by law and/or which may affect the behaviour and/or ability of perception and self-control of any individual within the Shopping Mall. In particular, the consumption of food and/or alcoholic beverages is permitted only within the business establishments whose primary activity is the provision of such items for consumption and only to the extent that behaviour and/or the ability of perception and self-control are not affected as described above..

4. Actions which may disrupt the commercial activity and the smooth operation of the Shopping Mall, such as the holding of street markets, door-to-door sales, public speaking, begging, events of any kind, demonstrations or gatherings, begging, and the distribution of fliers, promotional material or any other kind of printed material within the common areas or parking areas, are not permitted, without the prior written approval from the Shopping Mall’s Management.

5. The posting of signs, advertisements, notices or objects by users of the Shopping Mall in any part thereof,  without the prior written approval from the Shopping Mall’s Management.

6. Movement within the common areas of the Shopping Centre using bicycles, wheeled devices (rollers, skateboards, electric scooters) or any means of transport is not permitted. Furthermore, the use of drones is prohibited.

7. Pets are permitted in the common areas of the Shopping Mall, provided their owners keep them on a leash or carry them in appropriate carriers. Pet owners are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and for the proper conduct of their pets towards third parties, as well as for any damage caused by them.

8. The improper use of and/or damaging and defacing Shopping Mall equipment (including escalators and lifts) is prohibited. Persons acting in violation of the above shall be obliged to make immediate restitution of any damage.

9. It is forbidden to harass, insult, threaten or intimidate (verbally or physically) any person within the Shopping Mall. Likewise, it is forbidden to take part in any action that is against the law and/or abets criminal activity within the Shopping Mall.

10. To ensure the safety of visitors to the Shopping Mall, as well as its safe and smooth operation, the Shopping Mall’s Management reserves the right to remove from the premises any visitor who violates any of the above Rules of Conduct, particularly in case of disturbance, unlawful acts or any act which may pose a risk to persons and/or property. In cases where it is deemed that there are grounds of:: a) particular severity, b) repeat offenses, or c) conduct which may put the Shopping Mall and/or its visitors at risk, the Shopping Mall Management also reserves the right, inter alia, to forbid entry to the persons involved (adult and/or minors, especially if the latter are not accompanied by a guardian) to the Shopping Mall for an indefinite length of time.

11. For reasons of protection of the health of visitors and employees of the Shopping Mall, the Management of the Shopping Mall reserves the right to remove from the premises anyone who does not comply with the special health protection measures provided for by applicable legislation or established by the Government or specifically adopted and indicated by the Management of the Shopping Mall (e.g. thermal cameras). In cases where it is deemed that there are grounds of: (a) particular seriousness (e.g. during pandemic periods), (b) repeated non-compliant behaviour, or (c) conduct that poses risks to the Shopping Mall and / or the persons therein, the Management of the Shopping Mall is entitled, inter alia, to prohibit the entry of those involved (adults and / or minors, especially if they are not accompanied by a guardian) at the Shopping Mall for an indefinite period of time and to notify the Authorities.

12. Photography and/or video recording within the premises of the Shopping Mall is not permitted without the prior written approval of the Shopping Mall’s Management.

13. Entry to the Shopping Mall is not permitted to visitors who have their facial features concealed by helmets, hoods or similar items, or who carry weapons and/or dangerous/sharp objects, etc.

14. All visitors are solely responsible for the safety of their luggage and personal belongings, which may not be left even temporarily unattended in the Shopping Mall. For security reasons, there is no provision for temporary storage of luggage or items in the Shopping Mall premises. Where storage lockers are available, their use shall be subject to the specific terms displayed on site.

15. The conduct of surveys or polls within the premises and/or the surrounding area of the Shopping Mall is not permitted without the prior written approval of the Management of the Shopping Mall.

16. Visitors are not permitted to charge electronic devices (mobile phones, tablets, etc.) or, in general, to use power outlets located in the common areas of the Shopping Mall, unless there are designated charging points available for public use.

17. Temporary placement or parking of bicycles is not permitted within the Shopping Mall in any area other than the specifically designated area located outside the Shopping Mall, the use of which is at the sole risk and responsibility of the bicycle owners. (as applicable per shopping mall)

18. Users are not permitted, upon entering the Shopping Mall, to be in possession of helium balloons or other types of balloons, or, in general, objects which, due to their material, size or manner of use, may pose a risk, cause nuisance and/or damage to persons or to the facilities of the Shopping Centre.

19. The movement of tables and chairs from their designated positions, as determined by the Management of the Shopping Mall, is not permitted..

20. The use of the Shopping Mall’s emergency doors and exits is not permitted, except in cases of emergency
