At the Pastis Brasserie, lunchtime is all about French influences

Lunch with your best friend, sister or mother is not just a "part" of your everyday life, but an experience that occupies a special place in your memory. The place that accompanies your conversations contributes to this, of course. Our choice for this October could not be other than Pastis Brasserie.

The reason why Pastis Brasserie is the place to be at any time of the day is that it combines a café, a restaurant and a bar. We chose to visit at lunchtime to take a break from our routine, as at lunchtime they serve dishes of the day, which include a range of imaginative Mediterranean cuisine with clear French influences. Our table didn't miss out on our two favourite, delicious salads: burrata with cherry tomatoes, watermelon and fresh basil. It was a delicious choice, enough to whet our appetites for what's to come.

Then came two subversive dishes that once again managed to fascinate our taste buds. These were the Salmon Bowl, with grilled salmon accompanied by sweet potato, beluga lentils, edamame beans, pineapple and harissa sauce, and the handmade turkey burgers with a fresh summer vegetable salad.

And having chosen two of the most impressive dishes in refined French cuisine, we couldn't help but accompany our menu with two glasses of wine from Pastis Brasserie's extensive wine list.
