For those of us who never miss an opportunity to discover the new culinary sensation in town, this January we have a unique surprise. Ipirotissa, the premium food store, has opened its doors on the ground floor of Golden Hall!
It is a French-style bakery offering hot and cold meals, gourmet products, a healthy juice bar and a Japanese sushi bar that will undoubtedly please even the most sophisticated food lovers. And for those of you who are wondering what we tried, get ready to be jealous, because the dishes we tried at Ipirotissa exceeded all expectations. Trying to get back to our daily routine after the festive season, we opted for the Shrimp Avocado Salad, with hearts of lettuce, shrimp, Hass avocado, carob nut and cider mango dressing, and then ordered two of the tastiest dishes on the menu - always in line with our own eating tastes: Turkey burgers with ginger and head cheese, served with Mexican rice, and beef fajitas with peppers, onions, guacamole sauce, pico de gallo, sour cream and flour tortillas.
And because we couldn't resist the original flavour combinations and suggestions in front of our eyes, we decided to take another break from our walk and continue with two more dishes. These were the Mini Pinsa with mortadella and pistachio and the Healthy Pot Salad with beluga lentils, beetroot, dill pesto, cottage cheese and balsamic vinaigrette.
Of course, we didn't forget to get from Ipirotissa our favourite drinks, which gave us the boost we needed to continue our walk unabated!
