An Italian Escape at La Pasteria

On a recent visit to La Pasteria restaurant, in Golden Hall, we tried an authentic Italian culinary experience that combined quality raw materials with special flavours and a welcoming atmosphere.

We started with the Rucola e Parmigiano salad, a refreshing salad with fresh arugula, crunchy walnuts, parmesan flakes and a balanced honey and balsamic sauce that tied the ingredients together perfectly. Its simplicity and freshness was perfect to start.

We continued with the Pesto Pesto Pistachio e Mortadella Pizza, a new surprise dish on La Pasteria's menu that marries velvety burrata with aromatic mortadella and delicate pistachio pesto. The delicate dough and the refined taste of the pesto made it special.

Of the main courses, we picked out the Pancetta Reggio Emilia - juicy grilled pork pancetta with a rich portobello sauce and an unexpectedly harmonious fig jam. The buttered pappardelle that accompanied it, simple but perfectly suited.

Finally, we couldn't resist trying a favourite pasta dish, the Salmone, which combined fresh and smoked salmon with courgette, light cream and dill. It tasted delicate and fresh, perfect for those looking for “lighter” options without sacrificing deliciousness.

Our experience at La Pasteria was excellent: quality food, courteous service and a place that combines comfort with Italian finesse. We will definitely return to explore more flavors from the extensive menu.
