The countdown to Christmas has started and we are more than ever ready to enjoy the magic of the holidays and the unique moments with our loved ones. The Christmas Market in the courtyard of Golden Hall has started and we have tasted the most festive flavours and the most delicious drinks from our favourite canteens!
If there is one thing that gets us in the Christmas spirit every year, it is none other than the most delicious Christmas drinks. At Starbucks, we went for the festive Toffee Nut Latte, which is rich and creamy with espresso, toffee nut syrup, steamed milk and caramelised nuts. Of course, we paired it with our favourite red velvet cookie. And for my best friend, who was with me on the first Christmas drive of the season, the "road" to the Flocafe Espresso Room was a one-way street. The most delicious Choco Tale with Merenda, chocolate and Ferrero and the most delicious bites of Profiterol with melted chocolate were exactly what she wanted.
Yes, the chocolate options every Christmas have their place! That's why a stop at Cultivos was a must. We tried the most delicious waffles with hazelnut praline, strawberry praline and Oreo cookies. And for those of you who want to make sure you have something to eat for Christmas, just take our advice and add the Hot Dog Barbecue to your order. Alternatively, order one of the signature dishes on the menu at TGI Fridays. This includes two mini classic cheeseburgers and a Margarita Lime Rose cocktail. Trust us, if you haven't tried it yet, you have to!
The truth is that the Christmas atmosphere of the Xmas Market, the bright decorations and the smells made us even more hungry for new tasty choices. So it was time for the most delicious noodles! And so we headed to Everest Exclusive, where noodles with grilled chicken fillet and a glass of J.P. Chenet red wine delighted our taste buds. And because food and wine pairing is a must on a Christmas afternoon, Kostarellos Canteen prepared a platter of prosciutto crudo, green pepper gruyere, multi-seed breadsticks, cherry tomatoes and onion chutney, along with a glass of their most aromatic pink spring wine.
As time went by and we were humming "Last Christmas I gave you my heart...", we decided to move on to a more comforting option. So we went to The Meat Boys and ordered three pork straws with potatoes and pies, in short, the perfect combination of street food. In fact, we suggest you sit next to the decorated tree for the best Christmas taste experience, while uploading your most Instagrammable moments to SoMe!
