Summer is here and if you're a fan of Italian cuisine, then you've surely dreamed of an authentic casual dining Italian experience at La Pasteria.
Italian cuisine is indeed a timeless favourite, thanks to its original flavour combinations and fine raw materials. All the more so, when these are combined with a warm and friendly environment, with its "trademark" open kitchen and excellent service, like La Pasteria. Just like that, we didn't miss the opportunity to visit it, starting with the choice of the Verde del Pastore salad, with rocket, lettuce, spinach and freshly baked manouri with balsamic and sun-dried tomato sauce, and getting a first "taste" of what was to follow.
The truth is that our appetite was already whetted when our table was filled with two pasta options that would surely surprise any Italian lover. What were they? On one hand, we chose the Carbonara Prosciutto di Parma with cream sauce and freshly chopped Parma prosciutto and on the other, the Pappardelle con Pollo Macinato al Tartufo with minced chicken, cream and authentic truffle paste from the Umbria region. And with the first bite, we had already "traveled" mentally to the coastal villages of Italy.
Of course, like the meals of every true Italian, ours was accompanied by two fine white and red wines, which we found on the menu of La Pasteria. So, if you're a fan of Italian cuisine, all roads lead to the place, where whether you choose a classic pasta, decide to try one of the genuine Italian pastries accompanied by an espresso or even just cool off with a cocktail in the bar area, you'll have an authentic casual dining Italian experience.
